About
I'm a third-year statistics student at Hacettepe University. I've worked at Albaraka Türk since June 2025, first on the sales side as an assistant portfolio manager and now at the Ankara Regional Directorate, where I analyze how our branches perform.
I use Python and statistical methods to turn complex datasets into something a team can act on, and I explain the results in terms the business side can use. Working on the ground in finance, entrepreneurship and hospitality taught me needs analysis, persuasion and how to handle a crisis, and I bring that experience into my analytical work.

- Problem
- Credit risk for businesses is mostly assessed from periodic balance sheets. The idea came from my time in branch banking: measure risk more dynamically, using data that reflects what a business is doing right now.
- Approach
- We built a fintech solution that produces dynamic credit risk scores for businesses from alternative data sources. I designed the analytical framework drawing on my statistics training and my interest in large language models.

- E-commerce, shipping and advertising data, together with sentiment analysis.
- Outcome
- The project reached the final. We are now turning it into a startup.
